Tin Can Bay -  the locality of Tin Can Bay is bounded on the east by the Great Sandy Strait, a pristine waterway protected by World Heritage listed Fraser Island. The area is a Ramsar Convention Wetland of International Importance and an Important Bird Area of Australia.

Cooloola Cove - this small community is only 10 minutes drive to the waterways at Tin Can Bay and 20 minutes drive to the surf at Rainbow Beach. It boasts a shopping centre with a full size Woolworths and many specialty shops including a pharmacy, bottle shop and bakery.

Swim with the dolphins, explore the spectacular scenery of Fraser Island, see the rainforests, heathlands and freshwater lakes. Skydive the skies or Dive the ocean depths. Para or hang-glide in one of the top ten spots in the world the Carlo Sand Blow, an amazing spectacle in itself with postcard views.
